Living independently can be a really challenging experience for some people.

At Birchwood, we offer support services for people aged 16+ in the wider community who are single, at risk of homelessness and may have additional support needs.

Our Dispersed Service provides ongoing support to people who are experiencing difficulties finding or maintaining a safe, stable place to live.

Our dedicated worker delivers a preventative service that intervenes and supports at an early stage, to minimise the risk of crisis occurring or progressing further.  

With a focus on social inclusion - this service works with individuals to promote independence and improve quality of life.

The support we provide includes:

• Help to stabilise finances
• Support to liaise with landlords
• Referral to access additional services in the community
