A much needed facility in West Lancashire

Welcome to Ennerdale - our newly refurbished centre for people who need support around their mental health and well-being.

Ennerdale was a derelict local eyesore that has been transformed into a beautiful building at the heart of the Tanhouse community in Skelmersdale.  The building is in its own grounds with ample parking nearby and a ten minute walk from the town centre.

The refurbishment has created modern, fit for purpose accommodation and was designed using psychologically informed environmental approaches. The building offers 10 individual bedrooms, beautiful living rooms, kitchen and dining spaces that provide a comfortable ‘home from home’ experience.

In addition to providing quality accommodation, Ennerdale has a number of facilities that support the health and wellbeing of the people who will access its services including:

  • Therapy and activity room (A beautiful space for craft, art, physical activity or even yoga & meditation studio)
  • Consultation space (For the use of multi-disciplinary teams, therapists, counselling services, to name but a few)
  • Family room (A snug, cosy room with kitchenette and couch where family can visit and restore relationships in a nurturing space)
  • E-Health Suite (A room dedicated to digital inclusion and providing access to cutting edge E-health resources, to aid recovery and promote the 5 ways to wellbeing)

It is a beautiful place to rest, stay and recover.
